In The name of the Father, ✠ and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

O God, my God, to Thee do I wake at break of day.

Psalm 62:1

Pater Noster, Ave, Gloria, Fatima Prayer.

Grant, O holy Joseph, that, ever secure under thy protection, we may pass our lives without guilt.

Saint Joseph, model and patron of those who love the sacred Heart of Jesus, pray for us!

All ye angels and saints of God, and especially you, my dear patron saints, pray for me!

We are yours and all that we have is yours, O most loving Jesus, through Mary Thy most holy mother.

Jesus, Mary, we love you, save priests, save souls!

Sweet Heart of Jesus, grant that I may ever love Thee more.

Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make our heart like unto Thine.

Sweet Heart of Jesus, be my love!

Sweet heart of Mary, be my salvation.

May the Lord bless me, preserve me from all evil, and bring me to life everlasting. Amen.

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Eternal rest give unto them, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.

Actus – Acts

Actus Fidei – Act of Faith

Amen.

Oh Lord my God, with a firm faith I believe and confess each and every thing that the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou, my God, has revealed all these things, who is eternal truth and wisdom, who can neither deceive nor be deceived. In this faith, I resolve to live and to die. Amen.

Actus Spei – Act of Hope

Amen.

Oh Lord my God, I hope through Thy grace to obtain the forgiveness of all my sins and after this life eternal happiness, because Thou hast promised, who is infinitely powerful, faithful, kind, and merciful. In this hope, I resolve to live and to die. Amen.

Actus Caritatis – Act of Charity

Domine Deus, amo te super omnia proximum meum propter te, quia tu es summum, infinitum, et perfectissimum bonum, omni dilectione dignum. In hac caritate vivere et mori statuo. Amen.

Oh Lord my God, I love Thee above all things and love my neighbor because of Thee, because Thou art the greatest, infinite, and most-perfect Good, worthy of all my love. In this charity, I resolve to live and to die. Amen.

Actus Contritionis – Act of Contrition

Deus meus, ex toto corde poenitet me omnium meorum peccatorum, eaque detestor, quia peccando, non solum poenas a Te iuste statutas promeritus sum, sed praesertim quia offendi Te, summum bonum, ac dignum qui super omnia diligaris. Ideo firmiter propono, adiuvante gratia Tua, de cetero me non peccaturum peccandique occasiones proximas fugiturum. Amen.

Oh my God, from all my heart I am sorry for all my sins, and I detest them, not only because in sinning, I deserve the penalties that you have justly established, but especially because I have offended Thee, who art the greatest good, and worthy beyond all my love. Therefore I firmly purpose, with the help of Thy grace, from henceforth to sin no more and flee the next occasions of sinning. Amen.

Act of Adoration and Thanksgiving

Almighty and eternal God, I adore Thee, and I thank Thee for all the benefits. which Thou, in Thy infinite goodness and mercy, hast conferred upon me. I thank Thee especially for having preserved and protected me this night.

Symbolum Apostolorum – Apostles Creed

Credo in Spiritum Sanctum, sanctam Ecclesiam catholicam, sanctorum communionem, remissionem peccatorum, carnis resurrectionem, vitam aeternam. Amen.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified; died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.  Be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

Michael, Michael of the morning Prayer

Michael, Michael of the morning,
Fresh chord of Heaven adorning,
Keep me safe today,
And in time of temptation
Drive the devil away.

Memorare

Memorare of St Joseph

Memorare, o purissime Sponse Virginis Mariae, o dulcis Protector mi, sancte Ioseph, non esse auditum a saeculo, quemquem ad tua implorantem auxilia, tua petentem suffragia, esse derelictum. Ego tali animatus confidentia ad te venio, tibique fervide me commendo. Noli, quaeso, o Pater putative Redemptoris, verba mea despicere, sed audi propitius. Amen.

Remember, oh most pure Spouse of the Virgin Mary, my sweet Protector Saint Joseph, never was it heard that anyone who implored thy help nor sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I come to thee and to thee do I fervently commend myself. Despise not my petitions, I beseech thee, foster Father of the Redeemer, but graciously hear them. Amen.

Memorare of Mary

Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Consecration and Offering

Consecration to Mary.

My queen! my mother! I give thee all myself, and, to show my devotion to thee, I consecrate to thee my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart, my entire self. Werefore, O loving motherm as I am thine own, keep me, defend me, as thy property and possession.

Ecce Ancilla Domini

I am in thy hands, O Mary! Mold and fashion this clay which I am; give it a form and break it again. Thou are it’s Mistress, it may not complain. I am satisfied that it should serve thy purpose and nothing in me should be opposed to thy good pleasure. Whether thou dost ask, command or forbid me, I am ready to obey. What wouldst thou have me do or not do. Whether I be exalted or humiliated, comforted or grieved, able to work for thee or incapable of anything, helpful to all around me or burdensome to everybody. I shall ever love thee and sacrifice my will to thine in all things, saying: My Soul is Mary’s Slave of Love!

Morning Offering

O Jesus, through the immaculate heart of Mary, I offer Thee my prayers, works, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Thy sacred Heart, in union with the holy sacrafice of the Mass throughout the world, in reperation for my sins, for the intentions of all our associates, and in particular for the good intentions recommened this month by the Hold Father.

Other Prayers

Prayer to Saint Philomena

O most pure Virgin, glorious Martyr, St. Philomena, whom God in His eternal power has revealed to the world in these unhappy times in order to restore the faith, sustain the hope and stirr up the charity of Christian souls, behold us here before thee and receive our prayers. Obtain for us that purity for which thou didst sacrifice the most alluring pleasures of the world, that strength of soul which made thee resist the most terrible attacks and that ardent love for our Lord Jesus Christ, which the most frightful torments could not extinguish in thee. So that by imitating thee in this life, we may one day be crowned with thee in heaven. Amen.

Magnificat

My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior. For He hath regarded the humility of His handmaiden.

For behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For He that is mighty hath done great things to me, and holy is His Name. And His Mercy is from generation unto generations upon them that fear Him.

He hath shewed might in His arm, He hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble. He hath filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He hath sent empty away.

He hath received Israel, His servant, being mindful of His mercy. As He spoke to our Fathers, Abraham and His seed forever.

Veni Creator Spiritus

Come, Holy Spirit, Creator blest,
and in our souls take up Thy rest;
come with Thy grace and heavenly aid to fill the hearts which Thou hast made.

O comforter, to Thee we cry,
O heavenly gift of God Most High,
O fount of life and fire of love,
and sweet anointing from above.

Thou in Thy sevenfold gifts are known;
Thou, finger of God’s hand we own;
Thou, promise of the Father,
Thou Who dost the tongue with power imbue.

Kindle our sense from above,
and make our hearts o’erflow with love;
with patience firm and virtue high
the weakness of our flesh supply.

Far from us drive the foe we dread,
and grant us Thy peace instead;
so shall we not, with Thee for guide,
turn from the path of life aside.

Oh, may Thy grace on us bestow
the Father and the Son to know;
and Thee, through endless times confessed,
of both the eternal Spirit blest.

Now to the Father and the Son,
Who rose from death, be glory given,
with Thou, O Holy Comforter,
henceforth by all in earth and heaven. Amen.

Latin:

Veni, Creator Spiritus,
mentes tuorum visita,
imple superna gratia
quae tu creasti pectora.

Qui diceris Paraclitus,
altissimi donum Dei,
fons vivus, ignis, caritas,
et spiritalis unctio.

Tu, septiformis munere,
digitus paternae dexterae,
Tu rite promissum Patris,
sermone ditans guttura.

Accende lumen sensibus:
infunde amorem cordibus:
infirma nostri corporis
virtute firmans perpeti.

Hostem repellas longius,
pacemque dones protinus:
ductore sic te praevio
vitemus omne noxium.

Per te sciamus da Patrem,
noscamus atque Filium;
Teque utriusque Spiritum
credamus omni tempore.

Deo Patri sit gloria,
et Filio, qui a mortuis surrexit,
ac Paraclito,
in saeculorum saecula. Amen.

Three Aves for purity.
